Responsible for providing excellent landscaping services to Dickerson Landscaping customer.

Salary: $10-$13 based on experience (also expected to complete company training program within 90 days.)

Job duties and responsibilities of the Landscape Crew Technician:
Company Policy and Procedures
Understand and abide by company procedures
Learn procedure through instruction, examples, and training
Arrive on time and ready to work by 7:30 a.m.
Demonstrate good attendance/schedule days off ahead of time
Dress with appropriate attire and carry personal PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)
Performance/Production and Skills
Practice procedures taught by crew leader/foreman
Remain productive after instructions
Learn daily routines of installation
Physical Performance and Skills
Demonstrate handling, moving, and installation of landscape plant material
Moving of landscape and construction materials
Perform most horticultural skills without direction
Develop construction skills (i.e., brick, stone, drainage, water features, and mortar work)
Load and unload trucks daily with necessary equipment to perform daily landscaping tasks
Participate in training sessions and complete tests
Pick up unsightly trash from clients property
Perform landscaping tasks per company scheduled route
Perform tasks in order deemed appropriate by crew leader/foreman
Equipment and company property
Protect and preserve all landscaping tools and equipment
Keep nursery property neat and clean
Stand up plants in the nursery in the mornings on the way to the trucks
Weed nursery plants
Grease and check fluids of all equipment
Operate equipment in safest possible manner
Keep vehicles clean and need at all times
Keep work space clean and organized at all times
Human relations
Help clients with requests of other lawn and landscaping needs if they can be done in 5 to 10 minutes of the allotted time per schedule
Report larger client concerns to crew foreman or production manager
Demonstrate knowledge of all our products and services
Present oneself professionally and live up to the company values while representing our company
Exhibit an optimistic and motivating attitude

Required essential duties and tasks to be performed involve sitting, up and down activities; standing; use of hands to operate hand held equipment; frequent walking, stooping, kneeling, and reaching with arms and hands, as well as talking and hearing. Specific vision requirements including extensive searching for different plant types, close vision, depth perception and an ability to adjust focus.
Capable of learning and developing skills and mastering functions of physical and organized nature
Able to maintain a driver’s license and insurability
Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing vigorous, physical labor
