Hurricane season is roaring in later than usual this year!
By keeping a few items in mind, preparing your landscaping in event of a hurricane making landfall in your neighborhood should go smoothly.
Keep yard debris out of storm drains, keep your gutters clear and downspouts firmly attached allowing heavy rain downfall to move away from your home.
Cut back any plant that is too close to the house, remove dead tree branches or any loose debris in your yard.
Container plants should be moved indoors if possible or shelteed behind a hedge and lay flat.
Irrigation systems should be turned off and water collection vessels spigots left open.
